Read code…?

This site is currently under development. …

The latest posts are probably nearer the way it will go.

The site is designed to be used in class, with a teacher introducing the coding or algorithm concepts first. The quizzes encourage pupils to predict outcomes, thus checking understanding. When they get results, there are instructions which link to a Scratch project where they can run, investigate and modify the code, before making their own.

Read code and predict what it will do. Have a go at one of our quizzes. Lots of different questions with immediate feedback. When you finish, there’s a link to the code in Scratch where you can try them out and see what they actually do.

Scratch is a project of the Scratch Foundation, in collaboration with the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Media Lab. It is available for free at https://scratch.mit.edu
